CNC belt grinding and polishing of a medium sized steam turbine blade on an MTS machine tool manufactured by IMM Maschinenbau GmbH, Germany.
This turbine blade polishing process allows for a balancing of the milling process prior to polishing of the blade and thus cost redution in the entire process chain of 15% to 20%.
